Manco Season XXI Roster
May 2, 2008
After two successful playoff matches, look for an interesting matchup against Rex de Regnum (rdr) in a best of three match (strike, mill, russka) tonight.
Manco Roster CAL-O History
May 2, 2008
The Manco (formerly SOSBrigade and Abyssal) has seen some important change over the last three seasons. Their first 5-3 season began with a 1-2 record, and a roster that bears little resemblance to the team that went 4-1 to finish the season. This Season XIX roster was represented by:
Matthew “ATKBovine (Tellit)” Little
Warren “Ntrl” Au
Gene “Hiya!” Au
David Buye
Jia Ming “Rifulu” Yang
For season XX of CAL-O, this starting roster saw no changes. Mid-season Warren was banned for crouch running. Jacob “ToF” Farrell was brought in as an acting fifth for the duration of the ban. After questionable admin decisions, the team went from a 4-0-0 record to a 2-2-0 record. In frustration the team lost motivation and disbanded.
The story was thought to be over; however, when season XXI came around, some enthusiasm stirred and the team reunited to compete once more.
3dN dead
May 2, 2008
The reformation of 3dN was not successful. With Bharat and Trav participating in high-level WoW Arena, they were unable to participate in CS league-play.
However the story doesn’t end there. Three seasons of CAL-O later, full of scheduling conflicts, admin trouble, and an untimely crouch running ban, a new team featuring former 3dN members ATKBovine and Au`Ntrl (first SOSBrigade, then Abyssal, now Manco), has finally made CAL-O playoffs.
After losing the first round of the season to a strong CMK team, Manco has won 8 strait, including the first round of playoffs. This suggests a return to CAL-IM, and a chance at CAL-M if playoffs continue in their favour.
Welcome Andy to 3dimensioN
August 4, 2007
With most of the old lineup having reassembled, Andy Nguyen too has decided to give it another go. In our last active season Andy was an important member of our lineup. Originally a 6th, he quickly asserted himself as an integral part of our starting lineup.
It’s still too early to say how the roster is going to work, but the addition of a player of Andy’s caliber is positive.

3dN Reforms, Roster and Leagues Uncertain
July 31, 2007
Nearly a year has passed since our moderately successful 11-5 CAL-IM Season. Continuous roster problems led the team to informally disband following our final match: our two forfeit wins were not made-up, and so we did not continue on into the playoffs.
3 Dimension has remained in the back of all of our minds ever since. We’ve had some of the most fun and frustrating moments with 3dN. It’s an atmosphere of skill, dedication, and personality that you’re unlikely to find anywhere else.
With that in mind I’m pleased to announce the reformation of 3dimensioN.
Our full roster will be published shortly.
CAL-IM Season XVII 6:1 and 6:2 Train
August 29, 2006
Tonights match was against respected team #scm. Despite consistent roster issues, everyone played big tonight to shut down their respective sites. After coming out strong on CT, winning 11-4, we lost t-pistol, and slowly but surely worked our way towards the 5 rounds we needed to take the victory. The match could have easily gone either way, but luck was on our side: we somehow won two mistaken half buys, that could have easily left us in a double save situation. We took the match 5-8, and after the save, went on to finish off 7-8 with a lower-rush on the inside site. If Greg’s class hadn’t been surprisingly canceled, who knows what would have happened.
Unfortunately we won’t be playing our second match this week unless we make it up. #silverspine asked to forfeit the match due to their inactivity.
CAL-IM Season XVII 5:2 Inferno
August 23, 2006
#intense! came out strong on their ct-side, reading our pistol well, and smoothly taking the ensuing eco-rounds, including an impressive ace to stop an apartments rush. In the fourth round, when we had guns in our hands, we grabbed ahold of the momentum, and didn’t let go until our b-rush was picked apart by #intense!’s impressive awp-play. After the 11-4 t-half, we won CT pistol, traded a couple gun rounds, and had won the match! Good game to #intense!
CAL-IM Season XVII 5:1 Inferno
August 18, 2006
#zoii was the first match of the week, after a solid t-side going up 10-5, we lost game-point many rounds in a row on ct, falling to #zoii’s impressive default. The game ended 16-14 in our favour, but it could have easily gone into ot. Thanks to Andy for standing in once again. With Greg going into a cast this weekend, Andy may just take the starting spot.
Andy Back From Vacation
August 16, 2006
A warm welcome home to our 6th. Andy has been away for almost a month attending the wedding of one of his relatives. Well he’s kept in touch with the team during his absense, he’ll be a welcome asset as he steps back into the server. With him and Chris filling in when needed, expect a lot of practice time that we would otherwise have to miss.
